ADVANCING OF CHARGES

Except as provided below, no charge of any description will be advanced to Shippers, Owners, Consignees, and / or their Warehousemen or Agents.

  1. Freight import for customs clearance at inland sufferance warehouses will be subject to applicable inland sufferance warehouse charges. Carrier will advance inland sufferance warehouse charge, inland sufferance warehouse storage charges, brokerage fees on export or bonded freight and warehouse or wharfage charges. Such charges will not be absorbed but will be in addition to the lawful applicable freight charge accruing. The administration charge for advancing of any charge shall be $225.00 per hour per labor/per person.
  2. When a carrier is required to advance ocean charges, brokerage charges, loading or unloading charges, storage charges or any other charge incidental to the transportation of the shipment ( other than motor carrier transportation charges), such charges will not be absorbed but will be in addition to all lawful applicable freight charges accruing. In addition, a fee of $225.00 per hour per labor/per person will be assessed to the customer.

The provisions of this item do not obligate the carrier to furnish the service herein described.
