Pittsburgh, PA (December 14th, 2009) - PITT OHIO EXPRESS was recently awarded the 2009 Fleet of the Year Award for the For-Hire segment of trucking from FleetOwner magazine. Presentation of the award will take place in January, 2010.

The annual award winners are selected by the FleetOwner editorial staff in recognition of implementing innovative management techniques and programs. PITT OHIO received this award for its overall focus on the customer and the steps the company has taken to accomplishing its mission to evolve from a regional trucking company to a transportation solutions provider.

PITT OHIO EXPRESS Is Recognized As The Marketer of the Year For Business and Professional Services From The Southwest Pennsylvania American Marketing Association

Pittsburgh, PA (November 15th, 2009) - PITT OHIO EXPRESS was honored with the Business and Professional Services Marketer of the Year award presented by the Pittsburgh Chapter of the American Marketing Association (AMA). Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer Geoff Muessig and Manager of Marketing/PR Candi Cybator accepted the award on December 10, 2009.

The Southwest Pennsylvania chapter of the AMA evaluated each marketing campaign entry for measurable success in driving increased awareness and customer orders. Winners of Pittsburgh's only results-based marketing competition were recognized in 9 categories for their marketing excellence and effectiveness.

In 2009 PITT OHIO's Marketing department conceived and executed a year long contest to increase shipment activity for the company's North American service, known as The Reliance Network (TRNET). The company saw a substantial increase in the shipment activity and revenue for TRNET in 2009.

PITT OHIO EXPRESS Wins 2009 Excellence in Human Resource Management Award

PITT OHIO EXPRESS Ranks in the Top 250 of InformationWeek 500 List of Top Technology Innovators Across America
