Pittsburgh, PA (October 11th, 2010) - PITT OHIO EXPRESS wins 2010 WebAward for Outstanding Achievement in Web Development, in the category of "Transportation Standard of Excellence."

The Web Marketing Association's annual WebAward Competition was created to target the best web sites basedon:Design,Interactivity, Technology, Content, Innovation,Copywriting, and Ease of use to a target audience. TheWebMarketing Association's goal is to provide a forum to recognize the people and organizations responsible for developing some of the most effective websites on the Internet today.

PITT OHIO EXPRESS Wins Multiple ATA Safety Awards

Pittsburgh, PA (September 22, 2010) - PITT OHIO EXPRESS is proud to announce that they have received three awards given out by the American Trucking Association (ATA) Safety Council.

PITT OHIO EXPRESS placed First in the General Commodities/LTL/Local, Between 20-50 Million Miles category and Second in the General Commodities/LTL/Linehaul, Between 10-50 Million Miles category in the ATA National Truck Safety Contest. PITT OHIO EXPRESS also placed Third in the General Commodities/LTL, Between 1,001-5,000 Employee category in the ATA National Industrial Safety Contest. The awards are presented to those carriers who have maintained the lowest fleet accident and injury frequency in that category.

Ron Uriah, Vice President of Safety and Risk Management said, "Thank you to our drivers for the continued recognition they bring to our organization by their performance on the highway every day and night. Our drivers work very hard at being safe. PITT OHIO EXPRESS wins 2010 Quest for Quality Award - Expedited Service, FAST TRACK, receives 1st place honors

Pittsburgh, PA (August 30, 2010) - PITT OHIO EXPRESS wins Logistics Management Magazine's Quest for Quality Award inboth the Regional Less-Than-Truckload Northeast/Mid-Atlantic and the Expedited Motor Carrier Divisions. This is the sixteenth time in company history PITT OHIO was recognized in the LTL category and the sixth time the organization has been recognized in the Expedited category, ranking, for the first time, at the top of the list among six other carriers.

Widely regarded as one of the most prestigious awards in the transportation industry, Logistics Management Magazine subdivides the nation regionally and analyzes the results of a national survey broken into five categories: on-time performance, information technology, customer service, equipment and operations, and overall customer value.

PITT OHIO EXPRESS Wins First Place Award from Pennsylvania Motor Truck Association

Pittsburgh, PA (June 16, 2010) - PITT OHIO EXPRESS was awarded First Place by the Pennsylvania Motor Truck Association (PMTA) for outstanding achievement in highway safety in the General Commodities less-than-truckload (LTL) over 15 million miles category.

PITT OHIO EXPRESS was presented with this award on May 15, 2010 at the PMTA's Annual Management Conference in Bedford Springs, PA. Ron Uriah, Vice President of Safety Risk Management accepted the award on PITT OHIO's behalf. Pittsburgh, PA (June 1, 2010) - PITT OHIO EXPRESS has been named the recipient of the 2009 ITW Construction Products Choice Carrier of the Year Award. PITT OHIO EXPRESS was honored with this prestigious award on May 5, 2010 for excelling in the areas of the Quality Program Less-Than Truckload (LTL) evaluation criteria which included on-time service percentage, billing accuracy, number of claims, monthly reporting and overall carrier responsiveness. This is the second year in a row that PITT OHIO has won this award.
