Developed over three years, this initiative aligns with the company’s commitment to sustainability and responsible operations. Monday’s event, appropriately named “Driving PA Forward: PITT OHIO Harrisburg Electrification Celebration,” highlighted the company’s latest investments in advanced equipment and charging infrastructure, while recognizing the contributions of project participants. The newly introduced assets include an innovative fleet of electric vehicles and state-of-the-art electric forklifts. This significant initiative was accomplished through a strategic public-private partnership with the Department of Environmental Protection’s (DEP) Driving PA Forward award program and in collaboration with local utility provider PPL Electric.

By upgrading the facility’s electrical capacity and embracing clean energy alternatives, the company is setting a new benchmark for sustainable logistics across the Mid-Atlantic region.
