PITT OHIO EXPRESS Expanding HEAT TRACK Service into New England
Pittsburgh, PA (January 12, 2010) - Effective January, 11, 2010, PITT OHIO EXPRESS is now able to offer customers protect from freezing service into the New England market.
PITT OHIO EXPRESS is expanding their protect from freezing service, known as HEAT TRACK, to the New England market by integrating our service with Land Air Express. Land Air Express and PITT OHIO EXPRESS are both part of The Reliance Network (TRNET) which is an alliance of six carriers who are able to provide LTL service to all of North America.
Chief Marketing Officer and Executive Vice President of PITT OHIO EXPRESS, Geoff Muessig states, "In response to increased customer demand PITT OHIO EXPRESS and Land Air Express of New England are pleased to integrate our services to provide shippers with a highly dependable protect from freezing service between New England and the Mid-Atlantic states. Both PITT OHIO and Land Air Express are carriers in TRNET and we will leverage heated trailers and warm room facilities to protect shipments from freezing in the winter months. Many of our customers are reformulating their products to address end use recycling issues. The use of more water based products is driving increased usage of our HEAT TRACK service. HEAT TRACK service to and from New England represents PITT OHIO's latest service enhancement. Currently our HEAT TRACK service is available in our core area as well as to and from Canada integrating with another carrier in TRNET, Canadian Freightways/Epic Express."
