To determine their annual winners, Heavy Duty Trucking Magazine combs through nominations as well as press releases and stories they have run. They look at fleets’ long-term commitment to sustainability but also pay special attention to new initiatives. They look for companies that are acting as leaders in their industry, participating in pilot projects and testing new technologies, and sharing what they’ve learned with others.

According to the announcement all of Heavy Duty Trucking magazine's Top Green Fleets of 2019 take sustainability to the next level — through fuel economy, freight efficiency, alternative fuels, energy savings, and more.
