Pittsburgh, PA (November 9, 2022) - PITT OHIO, a leader in transportation, warehouse and logistics services, announced it has been awarded a 2022 Supply Chain Sustainability Award from their customer, Parker Hannifin (Parker).  The award, the first in Parker’s history, was presented to PITT OHIO in September.

Parker has recently implemented several supply chain initiatives to reduce their environmental footprint, including leveraging sustainable transport methods.  To determine PITT OHIO as the recipient of their inaugural Supply Chain Sustainability award, Parker measured continuous improvement ideas, SmartWay Certification, year over year CO2 improvements, and PITT OHIO’s commitment to sustainable transportation.  

Reed Tepper, Parker Hannifin’s Manager of Corporate Logistics & Transportation, visited PITT OHIO’s Cleveland terminal to present the company with the award.  Tepper said, “We appreciate PITT OHIO’s efforts and look forward to continued collaboration.”
