Pittsburgh, PA (May 28, 2013) - PITT OHIO announced today that they have been awarded the Pennsylvania Motor Truck Association (PMTA) President’s Trophy. The award is recognized as being the highest safety award presented by all carriers that are members of Pennsylvania Motor Truck Association.

The President´s Trophy is presented by PMTA and its Safety Management Council to one carrier in Pennsylvania with the lowest accident frequency.

PITT OHIO´s Vice President of Safety and Risk Management, Ron Uriah, was honored to compete for the Presiden´s Trophy with the best motor carriers in the state. "This is an outstanding achievement from our employees" Uriah said. "We appreciate the dedication and focus to highway safety that our drivers show throughout the year while performing their daily assignment as professional drivers working in all kinds of weather and traffic conditions.
